The name Versatec Energy bv was established in 1993. The company has been in operation since 1986, providing operations support, loss control engineering and management services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas industry in Holland, United Kingdom, Norway, Denmark and worldwide.

Versatec's experience extends from involvement during early phases of a development through to project completion and operations. Versatec has in-house experience to conduct HAZID’s and HAZOP’s for both process management and well services operations which includes under-balanced and mudcap drilling. Such a diverse experience is normally only found in organizations that are too large to benefit from feedback available from their own personnel.

Versatec has developed a unique concept for interactive, electronic, operating manuals and document control solutions. This development is the result of ongoing cooperation with Triview Technical Communications, a specialist company in the field of electronic documentation.
